Her name was Alice Olive according to her grand-son. Likely Alice change her peculiar second name Oktavia to Olive when moving to the US. Alice was not yet 6 years old when she emigrated to the US with her mother and sisters. Her father had left for the new country a couple of years before, and in the summer of 1895 it was time for the rest of the family to follow. In the US Alice got two more sisters, so they were 5 sisters when the family came back to Sweden and lived in Gothenburg from Sept 1899 til May 1900. Then back to the US again!
